About Us

Phi Beta Psi - Xi Chapter.jpg

Phi Beta Psi is a national organization founded in Columbus, OH in 1904 as a civic organization to raise funds for polio.  In 1948, cancer research became our focus and has been ever since. We are a small organization, with 75 chapters across the country and over 1,100 active members. Over the years Phi Beta Psi has donated over $11 Million to research.

Our goal is to spread the word about our mission and welcome more members to our sisterhood to join the fight. Cancer research will lead to a possible cure or less difficult treatment for future generations.

Let’s keep up the good fight, one step, one dollar, one year at a time!

A Note from Our Champter's President

Welcome to Phi Beta Psi – Xi Chapter’s website.

I became a member of the Xi Chapter after attending the Soup ‘n Sips fundraiser several years in a row. The guest speakers did such an amazing job conveying the impact our chapter's mission. I loved that we not only contribute to national cancer research but also help those in our community. We constantly hear stories of our organization's impact on cancer patients and their families through meals on treatment day, supplementing their drug costs, helping with travel expenses, and small gifts throughout the year to just let them know someone is thinking of them during their treatment. It's so rewarding to be a part of this organization of amazing women, making a difference.

I would like to invite you to reach out to us and find out how to become a part of our wonderful Xi Chapter.
